Hello
people! Saturday is in full swing and I
travelled today, so the dietary challenges were abundant. Because I try to not eat out too often or
while travelling…I pack my food when I can.
So today my car was filled with kids, a patient fearless leader
(husband) and foods that could easily be grabbed and disbursed while in route
or on stops. This included: bread, peanut
butter, honey, and jam (for sandwiches), celery sticks, carrot sticks, raisins,
tangerines, apple slices, the final few triscut crackers from a box, and
granola bars. Fortunately, the granola
bars were not something I made in my kitchen so they were a no-no for me. It worked out to be about 1200-1250 calories. Today’s moral is “The peanut butter adds up!” Tomorrow is weigh-in day so we will see how
well I fared.
