Today I made one of my family’s favorite meals for dinner…lasagna.  As we already discussed, moderation has not always been my strong point so today was a challenge.  I don’t really know if I prevailed or not.  On one hand…I had seconds on lasagna.  Whoops!  On the other hand, my total calories for the day were at about 1030 (right about where I want them to be).  So I will just call this a wash!  Here is what I had today:
Breakfast
Lunch
Dinner
Snacks
½ piece toast w/ plant butter
Smoothie (banana, almond milk, spinach, flax meal, honey)
1 cutie orange
½ veggie sandwich
2 2x2 squares homemade vegetable lasagna
1 bowl garden salad w/ vinegar & olive oil dressing
¼ apple (I intended on having half but a five year old hijacked the other ¼
